Putting the hip in hypocrite:

*Alert readers who are also attuned to the cranky Buzz Saw Web Page may have noticed something fishy.
Namely, in my April 5, 1999 Forbes story, "Big Software takes a detour," the word "robust" rears its ugly head.
Also, on the cover of the issue, a roof line referring to the story uses the term "solution" in all its vague enormity.

Um...I'd like to propose a plea bargain:
I'll take the rap on the hypocrisy if I can maintain my staunch and fervent (and, no doubt, pedantic and prissy)
opposition to those terms and their ilk.
